Re: Window, Door, and Skylight Inspection
Pacific Woods Glass, Inc. offers inspections for Residential Homes of its Windows, Doors, and Skylights. The base cost for this service is $350.00. The cost may increase depending on the size and accessibility of the home. *To assess leaks, water testing may be needed. There is an additional fee for this service, customers will be billed by the hour at our current labor rate of $200.00.
Our assessment will include findings as of the date of the inspection. Insulated glass that has not completely failed but is on its way to failing, can appear and disappear at different times throughout the day. If it isn’t apparent at the time of inspection, it will not be included in our report. If a failed unit is discovered and reported to us within 7 days of the inspection, our technician will return to the home to measure at no additional charge.

Fixed and Operable, Windows and Doors
• Failed, Broken, and Scratched Glass
• Missing or Fractured Trim
• Broken, corroding and difficult to operate hardware, i.e., latches, hinges, crank and roto operators, rollers, and handles
• Damaged and corroding frames/rails
• *Evidence of Leaking
• Missing, torn, and damaged screens
• Debris build up in tracks, clogged weep holes
Fixed and Operable Skylights
• Failed, Broken and Scratched Glass
• For operable skylights, broken, corroding and difficult to operate hardware. Missing, torn, and damaged screens
• *Evidence of leaking
• Deterioration of sealant
• Damaged and corroding frames/rails
